Popular with surfers, Aliʻi Beach is located in Haleʻiwa off Highway 83. During winter, waves can reach heights over 25 feet. Care should be taking at this beach. The wave break can be dangerous during low tide and strong rip currents can occur around the deeper parts of the breakwater. Local surf sites include Off-the-Walls and Rock Piles.
